Still don't have a Switch, but between the upcoming Zelda game and the ability to play NES/SNES it is becoming increasingly harder. Though I have to really question the logic of the next Switch being one that can NOT play on a TV. :/ Who else is looking forward to this game? #Games

So much talk about the Switch lately, it seems like a great system! One thing I don't understand though - why the need for the screen? Or why not an option to buy it without the screen to make it more affordable for peeps? I got a little excited that

Anyone try Dragalia Lost yet? #ios #android

Just catching up on some Nintendo news when I caught this new action RPG game called Dragalia Lost. Looks a lot like #MS2 or something, but for #ios and #android.

Watching first 40 minutes of Persona 5 gameplay. Is this an RPG? Visual Novel? Cooking simulator? Shadow fighter? L O V E the artwork!! Colour me curious...

Zelda Breath of the Wild "Expansion Pass" was just announced. Hmm... not sure how I feel about this. Yeah, DLC's are nothing new, but this makes me wonder if the game's not done and/or they're trying to eke out as much money as possible. Whatever the case, it makes for an expensive game if you're after the full experience. :/

Cool, how fun does Monster Boy look!? Nice Action RPG-ish type thing.

How exciting, the Nintendo Switch is coming out March 3rd for $300 USD! Included: * main console * 2x controllers (Left and Right) - Nintendo calls them a "Joy Con" * Joy-Con grip (to which two Joy-Con are attached and used as one controller) * a set of Joy-Con wrist straps * a Nintendo Switch dock (which holds the main console and connects it to a TV) * an HDMI cable and an AC adapter It's pretty cool that it can be charged via USB-C, but 3-6 hours of gameplay isn't a ton. Though I'm sure you could plug it in anywhere. Who else is pumped?

Caught this trailer for an upcoming #16bit #RPG called by Project Octopath Traveler by Square Enix that looks nostalgic and fun!

When Square Enix makes a game they go big. And the cast behind the upcoming Nier Automata is no exception. Produced by Yosuke Saito from Dragon Quest X, character design by Akihiko Yoshida from FF XIV, Bravely Second, Little Noah, game design by Takahisa Taura of Metal Gear Rising Revengeance fame and Tekken, Drakengard composer Keiichi Okabe, the list goes on. This game looks like an incredibly fresh RPG. It's great to see something really unique in terms of the world and environment. This game looks like some weird hybrid between futuristic Final Fantasy, Mad Max, Blade Runner and beyond. Check out this incredibly vibey boss battle video from E3 2016.

Found this pretty cool explanation video of Cyberpunk 2077. Love the freshness of the concept. Curious to see how it pans out.

Reading up about Ikenfell, a turn-based RPG based around a magic school. Visually, it looks like a cross between NES / SNES, lovely #pixel graphics. Looks really fun! The Kickstarter did over $60k with a goal of $25k, pretty awesome.

Admittedly, I'm not a fan of the fad of 3D remakes, but I understand that those nostalgic for pixels are in the minority. I am showing my age a bit when I say that I did play the original Dragon Quest VIII back on the original console all those years ago, but I'm still excited to see that it's coming out again on the #3DS on January 20. Not content with just rehashing an old game, there are also two new playable characters and more side quests. If you're looking for a lengthy classic RPG with a modern update graphically, look no further.

Nexon's Dragon Nest was one of those games that was actually quite fun and a little different, but didn't get the love it deserved and struggled with traction. Jung Sic Park, who created that game is developing an Action RPG called #Project100 that looks pretty damned awesome AND breaks the mould even further.

Ach... I love #picross, but does every bloody thing have to be in 3D? Seriously Nintendo? So disappointed to hear that the next Picross game feels it has to spice things up rather than just be itself.
