Everyone seen the Blade Runner 2049 trailer by now? I'm a big sci-fi geek and have been a longtime reader of Phillip K Dick's books. And I also welcome any film adaptation or original sci-fi movie, so am excited for this movie.
However, this trailer in particular is funny and kind of prophetic in its own right. I do believe, if I'm not mistaken, that the first 5 seconds of this trailer contains a TRAILER. That's right, a trailer trailer. Is this a new thing? That in itself is quite futuristic, a sign of things to come? We are so over saturated with content that our capacity has shrunk down to 5 seconds bursts? Content producers have to distill things down to this new level? Kind of interesting.
