Hello there BZLers good to see some of you are still around! Having not been here for some time I feel like it's time for my yearly BZL update. I think only the captain remembers me, but it doesn't matter much, I think I'm mainly writing this update for myself. Still living. Still loving plants. Steadily getting older. Feeling slightly wiser. Still learning to accept myself. Still stressing myself out over minor things. Still loving my motorcycle. Steadily trying more new things every year. Getting back into reading, reading more books with some kind of philosophical moral to them than I did before. Hey all! How're you doing? Long time no chat. Been super busy and sadly haven't had much time to comment, but it's been great seeing all the art and game pics. I just wanted to share an update on that BZL redesign I mentioned awhile back. In the end, I went with a more simplified design, and am going to be focusing on making it more mobile friendly. Please disregard the domain, it's just a test site I use for development. Depending on feedback I would like to roll this out to BZL soon and MapleStory2 too. On the GMS2 note - how many of you are going to be testing? I haven't gotten accepted yet! :3 Be well, speak soon.

Hi all, thought I'd run the updated BZL design by you before making it live in case you see issues or have thoughts on how to improve it. It's live at Don't mind the domain name, or the fact that the data is old, it's just a copy of an old version of the database. Curious to hear if you think this is an improvement? Visually? Thinking of doing a redesign to BZL, curious what (if any) thoughts you might have? The colours need some work, but I think the interface lends itself well to a more organized UI - navigation on the left column, secondary in the middle, and main on the right. I would move the chat/PM system to this setup too, similar to Slack / Discord. Obviously heavily influenced by various apps such as Windows 10, Slack, Discord, etc.

Hey all, hope you're well! I just wanted to share an update on some recent changes. I've merged and streamlined the story / thread sections to keep things simple. My thinking is that forum threads are almost entirely questions. It's true that you can have threads which are discussion-based, but on BZL the story feature serves that purpose. Hence, to keep things as intuitive as I can you can now either add a story or question. I think it's pretty self-explanatory, but tell me if it's confusing or if you have any thoughts on how to improve it. One other important change is the 'add story' modal window. This is where you select whether to add a story or question. Selecting 'question' shows the question title input box. Also, you now have to se

Hi all! Hope you've had a great summer so far? Thought I'd share an update on the alpha launch of the new Forum functionality! BZL's forums are split into 4 topics, which are identical to our site topics; Games, Art, TV, Music. Up to this point, BZL has been *solely* about stories, which are basically like blogs - little snippets of news, screenshots or videos. Forums are a way to ask questions or bring up discussions in a more casual way. It's also a format that's more conducive to chat as the thread gets bumped when there are replies. Each forum has a list of sub-forums. Many of us are current / former Maplers so there is a MapleStory forum. But there are also forums for other games as well as consoles (DS, Switch, PS4, etc). had some great ideas about enabling longer-form articles / reviews on here. I know a few of you have also mentioned it'd be nice to embed images to show a progression of how you get from a sketch to a finished image (for example). It's also a neat way to write a mini review or link to multiple videos in a more casual way. To that end, I'd like to introduce you to two new embed codes - one for images and one for videos. This will allow you to post multiple images and/or videos. The syntax is as follows: [ image = Image caption ] ( url to image ) [ video = Video caption ] ( url to video ) Let me know your thoughts about enabling longer form writing on BZL.

Coarse hair. 37th. 7934 total levels. The ign is Captain + Swanna, the Pokemon. I don't know, maybe I was playing a Pokemon game at the time. Guess I was also thinking of F-Zero's Captain Falcon, so I wanted to get some kind of water bird because pirates. I'll keep it short. Corsair was the better of the gun user classes in my opinion. A variety of different summons, 4 from Scurvy Summons/All Aboard/Ahoy Mateys, 4 from Broadside, and 1 from Octo-Cannon. I actually didn't use Broadside or Octo-Cannon that much, the duration was just way too short. Corsair does get a free soaring Broadside mount at level 150, so that's something unique for them. It's possible to keep the Broadside mount after job changing to a different pirate. I know BasilMa
