What's everyone watching these days? Anime? Paint dry? I've just finished watching Atypical on Netflix.

I just watched the season finale of American Ninja Warrior. I only watch the last episode to see if anyone wins it. I am waiting for Survivor and Lucifer to start back up again.
@FriedClams How'd you like ANW? I tried watching that but some of these shows are so drawn out it's a bit OTT, don't you think? Like SYTYCD, there's so little actual dancing, it's just drawn-out stories and behind the scenes footage. Which I guess makes for "good" TV, but sometimes you just want the Cliff's Notes. Def looking forward to Survivor again! How's Lucifer, never watched it yet.
@syrup Oh I agree all the episodes are drawn out and boring, I only watch the last one just to see if anyone wins it. I will not watch any other episodes but the last one of the season. Lucifer is interesting because of the main character but the story is just the bad guy of the week.
@FriedClams I only watch the episodes that have the people I like. The rest just gets so drawn out for me. Same thing applies to AGT. I've hated that show lately though, they've been getting rid of talented people for a bunch of weirdos, especially when it comes to magicians. Rip Kyle Eschen.
@Helpingly I never saw that show. As for Ninja Warrior, I have no favorites just care to see if anyone wins it since only one person has won so far.
Pretty much just Anime and R&M for now. Waiting til I move back to uni until I'm able to start binging shows on Netflix again.
@Helpingly so much good stuff on the 'flix!
@syrup Anything in particular you'd recommend? I'm out of the Netflix loop atm lol
@Helpingly oh boy! So many, not sure what you've seen... Ozark, The OA, 13 Reason (I believe you said you've seen this maybe?), Master of None... and then outside of Netflix 'Broad City' is really cool. What kind of stuff you into?
@syrup yeah I've seen 13 Reasons, I found it tolerable. I'm into more mature, darker stuff. I still have to watch the Netflix version of Death Note though.. sure that's going to be fun /sarcasm
@Helpingly you seen any of the ones I listed? Haven't watched DN. Looks a bit... weird.
@syrup No I haven't. I don't have my own Netflix account, I *gasps from audience*, I just mooch off of my roommates lol. So Anything that is newer (meaning anything that started airing in the summer) I haven't seen.
@Helpingly oh, that seems to be quite common so I wouldn't expect too many gasps from the audience. Curious to hear if you find anything good! Always looking for something new. Netflix's search / recommendation algorithms leaves a LOT to be desired.
Chinese and Korean TV-Dramas. That's it for now.
@EternalMemory oh cool, I used to be really hooked on J-Dramas back in the day. They are so masterfully done!!
Dragon Ball Super, Rick & Morty, and GoT!
@benevolentia Another R&M fan (see @kaneki above)! Why are people so nutters for GoT?
Classroom of the Elite
New Game S2
Gamers
These are the three I keep up with. The other anime I will either finish when it completes or will eventually fall off into my backlog when I start the next season.
@WatchGintama do you ever watch any TV shows or you're strictly Anime?
@syrup Not since I cancelled cable and I dont have hulu or netflix.
@WatchGintama cool, me too. I meant more Netflix than traditional TV. I guess you can torrent so much these days eh...
@WatchGintama I've noticed that the majority of the anime you like to watch is very colorful and bright. Do you refrain from darker shows?
i really like rick and morty!! as for anime though, i'm really enjoying katsugeki touken ranbu (mainly because my favorite sword boy made it into the anime and have i mentioned that they've done him such good justice?? UFOtable might have become my favorite anime studio because of it) !!!!!
@Kaneki oh I've heard about Rick and Morty, will have to check that out!
@syrup it's such a funny show :') i highly recommend it
@Kaneki does it matter if I get into the current season / episode or is it one of those shows you have to watch from S01E01?
@syrup whoops, i only saw this now after scrolling through the forums,, but most of the time you can just start anywhere and it wouldn't matter. sometimes they'll reference an episode before it though :0
@Kaneki I would say to watch them in order. Although most of them are fine as stand alones, some make it critical that you watch the episodes before in order to understand them. Especially S3E7
