Metroid Samus Returns Official Game Trailer Nintendo E3 2017

@Helpingly from where I'm standing that says more about the 3DS and the selection of games than your taste. It's that bad or you're just particular or ...?

@Helpingly I'm not a huge fan of the way 3D looks on the 3DS, it reminds me of the PlayStation 1 graphics, which is sad considering graphics are 20 times better on smartphones. But I'm a die-hard Metroid fan...

@syrup Oh, Pokemon Sun and Moon can't even use the 3D function so I wouldn't know about the graphics of the 3d. (the 2DS xL was released a tad bit earlier I would have definitely got that over my 3ds). And it's not that I don't want other games, it's just that Pokemon looked so good that I spent the money to get a 3DS just for it lol. I'm too lazy to do my research on more 3DS games to find one that I like. I will be getting a new game soon though (Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon), still Pokemon, but hey at least it's not just one game anymore XD.

@Helpingly I think I've only played one of the original ones (for GB or GBA) and not for that long. What's the appeal that keeps folks playing TWO versions every couple of years? Is it the collection aspect?

@syrup Yeah pretty much. Some pokemon are exclusive only to a certain version of the game, so some people are going to buy one game and some people are going to buy the other. You will only ever need one version though, cause you can easily trade stuff over from the other version.

@Helpingly ahh ok I always wondered if you could trade / bring your collection over to another game. Can you just keep exporting / importing your collection to future games?

@syrup mhm, there's this thing called Pokebank that costs 5 bucks a year to use.
