How's this compare to LoL? I'm about as uncompetitive as they come, these kinds of games look so stressful.
DOTA 2 and LoL descend from the same game, but have become very different. The two games have the same win condition and generalized game design, however they differ in game mechanics and target audience. DOTA 2 is the harder game to learn between the two because it requires deeper planning and strategy since hero characters and items each have a specific design. LoL's items and champion characters by contrast are much more homogenized and straightforward so to cater to a far more casual audience. Regardless, both games are difficult and extremely replayable, and very interactive which foster competition. Winning after a 30-50 minute long match is very enjoyable.
