@syrup Well actually it was just a late summer vacation.
My sister married a German, and has been living in a town near Stuttgart for the last 6 years.
She visits the Netherlands at least two times a year, my family isn't that close, so I never felt the need to go visit her
The rest of my family has visited her at least once though, and I felt that after 6 years I kind of had to go and visit.
@random87 ahh I see, fam can be complicated, eh? Trip went well then? No drama or anything?
@syrup No problems at all! My sister and her husband were super excited to show me all there is to see in their region of Germany. I might need a few days rest though, my brother in law was excited to point out every little detail, trying to understand him with my very basic understanding of German really wore me out.
