Hi all! Hope you've had a great summer so far? Thought I'd share an update on the alpha launch of the new Forum functionality! BZL's forums are split into 4 topics, which are identical to our site topics; Games, Art, TV, Music. Up to this point, BZL has been *solely* about stories, which are basically like blogs - little snippets of news, screenshots or videos. Forums are a way to ask questions or bring up discussions in a more casual way. It's also a format that's more conducive to chat as the thread gets bumped when there are replies. Each forum has a list of sub-forums. Many of us are current / former Maplers so there is a MapleStory forum. But there are also forums for other games as well as consoles (DS, Switch, PS4, etc). Entry #2 about my attempt to dig back in to #MapleStory. On the advice of some I started by maxing out my Boss Damage Hyper Skill, which was a fun boost. I also went through and bumped up some of the obvious skills which maxed out my mastery and gave nice HP boosts (21k HP w/ no buffs!). But I am still woefully clueless about the rest of my skills and a little terrified to put points into things I don't need (it's unclear if I can max ALL jobs). And that's completely ignoring all of the new game features and updates that've occured in the last ~2 years. And let's not even get into where the FM is! IE, are Nebulite boxes or Stonetooth Swords worth something (got a wackload)? I love the new UI update for the most part, it's cool having the EX

MapleStory entry #3. I didn't have much motivation to grind so I took a little trip down memory lane with some bosses. I am one of the ancients who remembers when Zakum first came out and having to wait months before I could join one of the ~30 member parties required to take topple this lovable collection of rocks. The action was so frantic then, and the organization and strategy required was nerve-wracking. I was on the long list of people waiting to get a Zak helm, the stats of which were incredible back then. I also remember accidentally forgetting to take pet loot off and accidentally stealing someone's helm!!! So sorry. :( *gulp* :3 *sigh* good times...

Thought I'd post a bit about a recent feature update called #Communities. By tagging your stories with a supported tag (ie, MapleStory), your story will appear on that community page. These are basically glorified tag pages, but with a relevant avatar + cover, bio and link. You may notice that your profile page also now shows a list of communities you're a part of (ie, ). This is of course all automated. More communities coming soon. Let me know what you think of the feature and if you have any ideas on which games / manga / anime to add. It's now possible to have multi-paragraph replies. I've removed the 'enter' key triggering a comment submit, so you'll have to manually click the GO button to submit a comment / reply (or you can also press Tab and Enter). Next up, I'm working on merging the new chat with our PM system. Then I'll be expanding the chat to allow community, team and user-specific chats. This will allow you to have a MapleStory chat, or talk with your team members (ie, your MapleStory guild). Have a good rest of your weekend!
