How're you all progressing with 5th job in MapleStory? I haven't had much luck given time constraints, but am close at level 198. Tbh I don't even really know what's involved. You get it at level 200? Is it worth it?

I haven't been reading any of the patch notes or KMS notes in regard to 5th job. Everything that I know are just information passed around in guild chat. But here's what i know : You need to be level 200 to job advance. You have to have Pink Bean Prequest done. and i've heard that it takes about a total of 20 hours of wait time?
I guess it's worth it since you have nothing to lose. I'm excited to see how many players will come back and how much stronger do everyone get from 5th job.
You get your Job-Advancement at level 200 and you unlock your first-Core at level 206! I did my research in this and my Account is mid-tier-high-end! The dedication I had put in it, is a lot! Even if I myself had focused mainly on the grinding-part, I have spent quite a reasonable-time to get acquainted with the Controls and Mechanics on my Main-Dark-Knight as well as a number of Mules that I myself have the passion-playing! If you look at my Account, a lot has been ukkking done in it and I have MAX-Traits!
The game is Pay-to-Win, just admit it! People like SmartBored, he invested too much in the game monetary-wise and can't really see the flaws of the game! If this game is not enough to compesate me quality and service with it already being Pay-to-Win, I will look somewhere that can! If this is what you are gonna get, you might as well play BnS or BDO and Pay-to-Win there! You can get to decent 700AP for like $300 or 150AP in BDO for half of that price! That is what we call the mid-Tier-End-game-position! Maplestory is just not worth it, quality-wise! I'm sorry, but this is my opinion! My Account is Geared in Maplestory to tell you! If I'm gonna have to spend a lot of money to progress it, I might as well move to BnS!
