I have not played in a long time. It started off against a woman but she quit because of a phone call, then against the computer, then a different woman finished the game. I was winning the entire time and the new woman had 1 letter left to close a 7 point lead. She spelled a 15 point word, but forgot which one because there were so many errors trying to upload this picture. I cheered myself up with banana cream pie! #food

This was an interesting game. It was hard to tell who was winning. I had significantly more material but black had more activity and kept me on the defensive. At this point, black hoped I would be so excited about the "free" bishop, take it, and lose my queen. I did not fall for that and passed on the "free" bishop. I celebrated with a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich! #food

I had no idea what to do from here. I ended up giving away two pawns and resigned because being down a pawn that late in the game is difficult to come back. mentioned I keep my rooks passive which was a problem here too. I cheered myself up with a smoked salmon sandwich! #food

I have no idea what to make of this game. It is my rook versus black's knight and pawn but my pawn structure is a disaster. Black's pawn structure is nicer. Black should be able to gobble up my pawns since they would be too hard to defend. If black did not resign, I think black could have grinded a win. I celebrated with red snapper teriyaki over rice! #food

In an effort to play a more solid game, I took my time in thinking and ended up with 42.7 seconds left on my clock while black had 3 minutes and 14.5 seconds. Fortunately, I was able to put black in a dilemma because I was going to make a queen. Black did a good job of stopping that but then rage quit. I thought that was odd because black could win on time since I cannot move fast enough to mobilize a victory in 42.7 seconds. I celebrated with corned beef hash with poached eggs and potatoes! #food

This was a very close game. I usually lose these types of games because my tactics are poor. However, my opponent made a late game blunder and left the rook hanging. The best part was not the win but a rare person that resigned because usually they rage quit. I celebrated with vanilla wafers! #food

I got overexcited and saw the free queen. The post game analysis I learned I could have had both the knight and queen for free. I need to work on thinking before moving. I celebrated with chicken marsala!

I was seemingly winning and my opponent went for a perpetual check to draw the game. It is not a bad strategy when you think (or know) you cannot win. However, after analyzing the game afterwards, my opponent could have won and there was nothing I could do about it. Black moves the rook to F2 then there is no move I can do to help and after I move black moves queen to H2 for checkmate. I celebrated with plain potato chips! #food

As soon as I move my bishop, my opponent has to be a baby and offer a draw then ask for a take back. After I decline both, he/she rage quits. The previous game, I lost badly to this person and he/she wanted a rematch and this game was the rematch. Why only play against people you can beat? How will you improve? We were tied and I got my hopes up that I could win this. There were plenty of places to put the S and the N. However, the woman had only 1 tile left and she made "DA" and ended the game. I was so close. I cheered myself up with chicken tenders with barbecue sauce. #scrabble #food

Normally, when I am losing I just resign because why bother continuing. This time, I decided to just throw the game away and gave white all my remaining pieces. White could not figure out how to checkmate me before the timer ran out. It usually says I win because of time I guess they changed it. I celebrated with cream of mushroom soup! #chess #food

The woman hit me hard from the start with "HARMINE" getting the bingo bonus. She could not keep it up and even passed a couple of turns. I was able to get back into the game with "QUEYS."
