I know this is mainly a Gaming related site, buuuuuuuuuuuuut games don't excite me as much as they used to anymore. What does excite me are my ficus cuttings that are starting to root :D Over a month ago I trimmed my way-to-big-to-fit-on-a-desk-ficus and put the trimmings in water. I never expected them to do anything, it took more than two weeks for them to do anything but now it seems I might actually have 6 more baby ficusses to take care of. Yay Plants! #Plants

Third and (probably) final BabyFicus Update! Close to three months ago I resized my fairly large Ficus-like-plant and put some of the cuttings in water. All of them survived and started growing roots. I bought a bunch of cheap pots and potted them yesterday. Since I never dared hope all of the cuttings would take root I now have an unexpected problem, mainly: what the hell am I going to do with so many plants? Luckily my sister visited me a week after the start of the experiment and told me that: "It's never going to work, but if it does I want one" I'll probably select two or three of the most promising plants and put them together for my sister, since just one stem doesn't look like much. Maybe I'll keep a few myself and replace their pro

I've been taking pictures of my plants every now and then to see them grow, but even though I thought I took the pictures pretty consistently, It turns out my timing is pretty random, and the angles are all over the place :O The pictures are still pretty interesting, but they're not really what I was aiming for. So now I'm planning to just focus on one plant, my smallest, which has the most growing potential, and is probably the easiest to take pictures of. All I've got to do now is make some sort of rig for my phone, and I'll be set! #YayPlants

BabyFicus update 4! I potted my smallest Babyficus in a bit-to-large-for-it's-size pot, and it looks adorable. The story behind this Babyficus is a bit different than the other Babyficus. The other cuttings were all fairly large branches, but this one was an experiment to see if a cutting just 5 cm tall would also develop roots. And it did! a lot better and quicker than the larger branches actually! I try to take a picture of it once in a while because it grows so fast! it has doubled in size/amount of leaves in just a few weeks! #BabyFicus#YayPlants
